Day Program

The SHC is now offering social/recreational day program services for men and women with developmental disabilities. The program is called The Link and is located in the heart of the city of Medina. Individuals attending The Link have the opportunity to learn about their own potential and strengths in a caring and supportive environment.

The goal of our program is to provide new meaningful experiences to program participants. Our activities include recreational and leisure opportunities such as planned outings, arts and crafts, computer interactions, guest speakers, community outreach, games, puzzles, and sensory stimulation. Our staff are always flexible to adapt to each person’s needs throughout the day. All abilities and skill levels will be matched with a predictable routine. The setting, at the Medina Town Square, offers daily opportunities to connect to the community and its resources. The Link is open Monday through Friday 8:30 to 2:30
