Education Series


The Society for Handicapped Citizens provides a yearly series of educational presentations on disability related topics. The programs are free and open to the public. Topics in past years have included How to Write a Good IEP, Behavior Strategies, ADHD and Wills and Trusts. Who should attend? The series is geared for parents, professionals, and individuals with disabilities.

    Presented by Cleveland Center for Autism (tentative)
     
  • July 16, 2009 - Children and Mental Health Issues
    Presented by Gloria Tews of NAMI
     
  • October 15, 2009 - Parent/Professional Communication
    Speaker Karen Lyke of Ohio Coalition for the Education of Children with Disabilities
