MISSION STATEMENT

The SHC, The Arc of Medina County, partners with individuals with disabilities and their families to provide a full range of services to assist them in living a quality life in their chosen community.

Health of Adults With Down Syndrome

The Ohio State University Nisonger Center is conducting a survey and needs your help!  The survey questions the health status and access to healthcare of adults with Down syndrome.  This data will help us learn more about specific risk factors and special medical needs of adults with Down syndrome.  Additionally, the information will be used to improve access to healthcare for these individuals.  Candidates to participate in the online survey include: parents, caregivers, grandparents, adult siblings, direct support staff or other adults who know well of the adult with Down syndrome.  Please click here for the survey, or to learn more about this survey,  click here
