Volunteers are a vital part of our agency. Volunteers helped start SHC/The Arc and have kept us going and growing since 1953! There are volunteer opportunities for individuals of all ages, however those volunteering at camp must be at least 16 years of age and those volunteering in the group homes should be at least 18 years of age. Ways to help:

- Volunteer at Camp Paradise
- Make bake goods for FANS program and events
- Assist with activities in the residential program
- Volunteer to help with Special Olympics
- Help with newsletter mailing
- Serve on a committee
- Work on special projects
